Featdaddy player guide

How to check DCUO feats and understand your results

Featdaddy combines live DC Universe Online character data with a reviewed feat catalog. This guide explains how to search accurately, what each result means, and why some new feats may appear before their names have been confirmed.

Start with a character lookup

1

Choose the correct server

Select the platform and region where the character actually plays. PC and PlayStation share regional servers, while Xbox and Switch use their own server choices.

2

Enter the exact character name

Spacing and spelling matter. If several results are returned, use the server and character details to choose the correct one.

3

Read the character summary

The result brings together level, combat rating, skill points, feat completion, league membership and equipped items when those values are available from Census.

4

Browse the feat sections

Use the episode, event and time-capsule groups to narrow the list. A character sees feats for its own faction plus feats shared by heroes and villains.

Search a DCUO character

Completed, missing and unnamed feats

Census reports the feat identifiers completed by a character. Featdaddy compares those identifiers with its reviewed catalog to display a readable completed list and determine which catalog entries are still missing. The comparison is specific to the character’s faction, so a hero is not shown villain-only requirements and a villain is not shown hero-only requirements.

A newly introduced feat may be visible as an identifier before its name is mapped. That does not mean the player lost progress. The completion is already saved; the label appears later when an administrator verifies the correct in-game name and category. Existing winners, trackers and character history stay connected through the identifier.

How rankings should be read

The ranking pages compare characters that Featdaddy has encountered through direct searches and eligible league rosters. Filters let you compare skill points, combat rating or completed feats within a platform and region. Because the database grows as more characters and leagues are discovered, rankings represent the Featdaddy community rather than an official all-time DCUO leaderboard. A character’s position can change when newer Census values are collected.

Why a lookup can occasionally take longer

Character searches depend on the official Census service. If Census briefly returns an invalid or unavailable response, Featdaddy retries through a fresh request instead of treating the character as empty. Stored equipment and previously collected information can remain visible while the fresh response is being obtained. This avoids turning a temporary service problem into misleading zeroes on a player page.

Finding a feat by name

The public feat library searches verified names, descriptions, episodes, events and time capsules. Each result shows its point value, faction requirement and content group when known. Descriptions are displayed only when a reliable value is available; an empty description is not automatically filled from an uncertain source.

Quick answers

Is Featdaddy an official DCUO service?

No. It is an independent fan-made tool that reads publicly available game data and maintains its own feat mappings.

Does searching change my character?

No. Character lookup is read-only. It cannot change a game account, inventory, feat or league.

Why can the game and site totals differ?

Census updates, faction rules and newly unmapped identifiers can affect the displayed comparison. Featdaddy keeps the completion record and updates the label after verification.
